Road rage

So I was out and about today and while waiting in a left hand turn lane, spotted a man across the intersection out of his car yelling wildly at the car next to him. Crazy. Who does that?!

Center turn lane revisited

So I have been driving around Utah for a little while now and I have noticed in the past couple of days, in my opinion, gross misuse of the center turn lane (here in Utah referred to as the "special purpose left turn lane", and sometimes referred to as a suicide lane). I went to look in my handy dandy Utah DOT drivers handbook and found a little snippet at the very end of the section (easily overlooked I'm sure). Turns out you can drive a lot farther in the center turn lane in Utah than you can in California (500 feet in Utah to 200 feet in California). No wonder I thought these people were crazy. Its just the way they were taught.

The link to the Utah drivers handbook just in case you need some lite reading..., and to California's, if you want to read about how it should be done.
